Jennie could begin using his Finch Windmill arm conditioning device when she was 10 years of age. During high school she was able to throw six perfect matches and 13 no-hitters. Her next destination was University of Arizona. She made three All-Americans and was also a First Baseman. Her Honda Award was also given in 2002 and 2001 when Arizona won the softball championship in the nation.
